Villafamés is one of a kind. The medieval village is an authentic historical and cultural jewel. Just 15 minutes from the Mediterranean coast. It has a great natural value, not only because of the great climate but also because of its perfect situation, between the mountains and the sea.

The streets are delightfully throbbing with history and culture, while the views over the surrounding countryside are nothing short of spectacular. Located in the borough of Plana Alta, Castellón, the town of Villafamés is halfway between the coastal zone of the Orange Blossom Coast (Costa Azahar), and the mountainous hinterland. Every single corner of the old town will take your breath away. Stones are the basis of the local architecture, a historical ensemble that was certified as Property of Cultural Interest- in 2005.

The Space

The Castle’s Garden was built in a 17th century and it used to be part of the medieval castle. The Castle of Villafamés is from Arab origin and was conquered by Jaime I in 1233. The walls of the garden are the Castle’s old battlements. The house rises before a beautiful and inspiring landscape, with a 360 degree view over the village.

The Castle’s Garden is a five-story house that has been completely restored and renovated. While respecting the architectural elements and beautiful hand-made tiles, to preserve the old charm and rustic feel. It is a 425 m2 fairy tale family home located in-front of the Castle, with a beautiful secret garden of 150 m2 and swimming pool.

A five bedroom house with three bathrooms, one toilet and two balconies. Downstairs there is a beautiful and fully equipped renovated kitchen as well as a spacious dining room and a living room with chimney. Upstairs there is a study room, a lounge and bar, a sitting area with excellent views and another living room with chimney.

The garden is definitely the most charming aspect. With a medieval arch, a wooden porch and sitting area, a cave like wine cellar, barbecue and a fabulous swimming pool.
